Direct Action Texas finds election irregularities in Webb County Texas – files complaints with the Texas Secretary of State

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS (March 8, 2019) — Today, Direct Action Texas (DAT) filed 7 formal complaints with the Texas Secretary of State’s elections division regarding voting irregularities in Webb County, Texas.

Following a review of mail in ballots from last year’s Democratic Primary, DAT discovered over a hundred election code violations. It is clear from the evidence that, similar to other counties, there appears to be an illegal, mail in ballot harvesting operation in Webb County.

Evidence reviewed by DAT was compiled through a variety of sources, including documents obtained via Open Record Requests. This evidence has been submitted as part of our formal complaints. Included in the complaint are allegations that multiple residents of an apartment for senior citizens were targeted.

Our complaints of vote harvesting operations in Webb County included multiple canvassers across the county who appear to have rendered unlawful assistance and/or forged signatures. The investigation of Webb County represents one of DAT’s multiple ongoing investigations.

Over the last year, Direct Action Texas has filed several election violation complaints, including in Tarrant, Hill, Dallas, Harrison, Nueces and Kaufman County.

We call upon Governor Abbott, Speaker Bonnen, and Lt. Gov. Patrick to enact election integrity legislation this session. Ample irrefutable evidence uncovered by DAT demands reform.

If you have any information on vote harvesting, election fraud, or irregularities please contact us by phone at (682) 626-5679 or email info@directactiontx.com.
