Election Integrity Roundup 6.29.2020
Here’s a look at election integrity news from around Texas and the country. Some of these stories may have already been shared via our social media accounts, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
Early Voting Starts Today
Texas’ delayed primary run-off election is starting today and now that we have substantially more information about the spread of the novel coronavirus it’s clear that voting in-person can be done safely.
In multiple elections across the country, despite threats of death from journalists, there has been a distinct lack of case spikes following in-person voting during the pandemic.

Fraud in Bexar Co. Alleged
A week before the run-off election, members of the Democrat party in Bexar Co. are suing a candidate for Party Chair, Grace Rose Gonzales, alleging she committed fraud.
The complainants claim Rose and two of her associates used false addresses to register, file for office, and vote in March 3 primary.
If this is a case of voter fraud it’s a type of fraud we see often, Democrat on Democrat voter fraud.
Democrat Lawsuits Bust
Last week, the last of the Texas Democrat’s lawsuits to expand mail-in voting in Texas before the primary runoffs was rejected.
The Supreme Court rejected an attempt by Texas Democrats to circumvent the process of changing Texas law to institute universal balloting by mail.
The case, not decided on the merits, was an anticipated result since the initial filing and only positive ruling in the case were hastily and sloppily written. The partisan ruling providing a bad foundation from which to appeal and hope to achieve an outcome.
Actual Foreign Interference
Last week, Democrat Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio Cortez boasted about the abuse of TikTok to squat on tickets to a massive Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Following the Democrats spiking of this hollow victory, TikTok was reverse engineered and discovered to be full of information-stealing bugs. In part because of these bugs, India has banned TikTok along with several other Chinese apps.
These circumstances highlight the actual abuse and potential future election interference operations by a Chinese owned software company. TikTok should be banned.
Liberal Activist Charged with Fraud
Finally, it was recently announced that a former LULAC Director arrested and charged with voting multiple times in the same election.
Election fraud is real and individuals will likely be highly motivated to commit fraud in 2020 given the amount of angst created about the election of President Trump since 2016.
