AUSTIN, TX — Direct Action Texas joins the chorus of election watchdog groups from around the country raising the alarm on the damage mail-in ballot abuse poses to trust in our elections.

What we see happening in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia is strikingly similar to the tactics deployed by LBJ to win a seat in the U.S. Senate in Texas.

To win, LBJ allowed the count to start, held back results in his controlled territory, determined the number of votes he needed to win, and then stuffed the box to steal an election victory from the jaws of defeat.

DAT has, for years, called attention to issues of voter fraud in the state of Texas and specifically mail-in ballot fraud.

Late counting of votes in competitive states while the media attempts to block out dissenting voices calling for transparency is a perfect example of how mail-in balloting undermines trust in the process of administering elections.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll issue daily press releases about what’s happening in tight elections and link to supplemental information to inform voters about how elections are currently vulnerable but can be secured.

While all votes should be counted, this does not extend to ballots that have been manufactured to arrive at a predetermined election outcome. Elections must be fair and free from fraud.
